Today, I watched a manifestation of my wish. Only 2 weeks into second grade, she received a "WOW" Award for "Setting a Good Example and Being A Responsible Leader".
The tears still fall on this date, but now, they are comforted by hope...and her smile.

That's a beautifully written post. I only pray our kids are in a good world and will do all they can to better it.
9/11 ironically is my husband's birthday and I remember exactly where I was when it all happened: Brazil. Since I don't speak portuguese, I thought what I saw on the news was a commerical for an Arnold Schwarteznigger film!

Probably one of the best efforts we can make is to steer our kids in the right directions. I like this post - it hits the mark.
